Temperatures at 5 am ranged from 15 below zero at Keene New Hampshire, to 27° at Nantucket. Today will turn out cloudy for the most part, with some flurries or brief snow showers across Cape Cod and the islands. Highs today will reach the 20s to near 30. Some places in the mountains of northwestern Massachusetts and southwestern New Hampshire will only rise to 15 to 20 today. It will be mostly cloudy tonight, with temperatures between 5 and 15 above zero. Arctic air returns Monday on brisk west to northwest winds. There may be some flurries or snow showers through early Monday afternoon, otherwise it will be another dry cold day. Highs will be in the teens and 20s. The heart of the arctic airmass will settle into the area Monday night through Wednesday.
