This cold front also is bringing in colder air for the weekend and much of this next week. Generally low pressure covers much of the Canadian Maritimes. Winds around this low are bringing air into New England from the arctic circle, across Hudson Bay. This will keep temperatures in our region 5 to 15° colder than normal. Daytime highs will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Nighttime lows will be in the teens to lower 20s. Because this air is dry, any storms that move through the area do not have much moisture available, and produce only a light snowfall. Much of the rest of the time skies will be clear to partly cloudy. There could be a few widely scattered flurry these next few days. A more organized storm will move into the Great Lakes Sunday night then across New England on Monday. === The weather observed at WORCESTER, MA at 07:54 AM EST was: === The skies were clear. The prevailing visibility was 10 miles. Temperature: 16F ( -9C) Dewpoint: 3F (-16C) Relative Humidity: 57% Winds from the SW (230 degs) at 15 mph. Pressure: 1006.8 millibars. Altimeter:29.68 inches of mercury. === ORH Terminal Aerodrome Forecast issued 11-Jan-2003 06:24 EST === 7am: 26012g22kt P6sm Sct040 10am: 27015g25kt P6sm Bkn040 7pm: Vrb03kt P6sm Bkn040 2am: Vrb03kt P6sm Sct120
