It was cold with temperatures in the teens and 20s. A northwest wind gusting to 30 mph made it feel colder, like it was in the single numbers. Any snow showers or flurries should end early this morning as low pressure over New Brunswick Canada lifts north. Skies should become mostly sunny by mid to late morning. Temperatures will actually be seasonable for the time of year with highs in the 30s to around 40. The gusty northwest wind will continue this morning, with gusts over 30 mph at times, but winds should diminish rapidly this afternoon. High pressure will build south of the region this afternoon through Friday. Clear skies are forecast tonight with cold temperatures. Look for lows in the 20s at the coast to the single numbers and teens inland. Plenty of sunshine is forecast for Friday. It will be a few degrees milder than today as highs reach the upper 30s to middle 40s. === ORH Terminal Aerodrome Forecast issued 28-Feb-2002 06:30 EST === 7am: 27015g27kt P6sm Sct025 Ovc035; Becmg 9-11am: Sct040 4pm: 27013kt P6sm Skc; Becmg 8-10pm: 26007kt
