Early morning temperatures ranged from the teens across the interior, to the mid and upper 20s along the coast. Early morning satellite pictures showed clear skies over the region, except for a few clouds around Nantucket. High pressure over the southeastern states will bring sunshine and a gusty southwest wind to New England today. Although temperatures today will be milder than Friday, readings will still average about 10 degrees below normal for late March. A cold front will drop south from Canada tonight, and become stationary over the Great Lakes and Saint Lawrence valley Sunday morning, bringing an increase in cloudiness. The front is expected to push into southern New England late Sunday night and Monday, bringing rain or snow to the region.
