This brought a few snow flurries across northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Skies were partly to mostly cloudy prior to sunrise with temperatures mainly in the 30s. A weak ridge of high pressure will move across the region today. This will provide partly sunny conditions. Highs will mainly be in the 30s to around 40. Another fast moving low pressure system will push east from the Great Lakes tonight as skies will quickly cloud over. Snow is likely, beginning late this evening across western areas, moving to the east overnight. The snow will continue through most of Thursday as the low moves across far northern New England. The snow may mix with rain across eastern Massachusetts from Boston and waltham southward and most of Rhode Island. As the low moves into the Canadian Maritimes Thursday night, another weak high pressure area will move south of the region.
