Temperatures fell into the teens and 20s, with a few readings around 30 on Cape Cod and the islands. At 4 am, temperatures ranged from 9 degrees in Keene New Hampshire, to 32 degrees in provincetown Massachusetts. High pressure over the northeast will keep fair weather in our region through Saturday. Highs today and Saturday will be in the 30s to near 40, with lows tonight in the teens and 20s. Low pressure will form over the lower Mississippi valley Sunday morning, and move northeast. It is forecast to intensify as it moves across the southeast states, and off the mid Atlantic coast Sunday night. It will be southeast of Cape Cod Monday morning. Right now, it looks like some rain or snow will move into Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts early Sunday night, with some snow to the north and west.
