hee! I just got home from the best birthday present I've had
in.. um.. well, just about forever. Big thanks to the folks that
helped, as well for Squidboy sticking thru the 15 day Princess Tour of
the SouthWest. 

(A quick rundown: Sequioas, Yosemite, Death Valley, Vegas, Bryce
Canyon, Staircase Monument, Mexican Hat, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon
(south rim) Antelope Canyon and I'm forgetting a bunch of other stuff.)

But that ignores the great food, the amazing views, the awesome
riding, as well as some great bike shops along the way helping with
some small technical problems (amazingly, NOT with my T5!).

The only down side was that my rear tyre had not only gotten past the
wear bars, but the CORDS were showing their white bellies, resulting
in poor Squidboy having to zoom on home from Barstow via the Crest to
get the Truck. I think Huckleberry decided he didnt really want to do
3000 miles and wanted to ride in the back of the truck... Let's just
say that Jeff Crago got a kick out of hearing me call to say, "Um. can
you order me a new rear for Tuesday?" and then me having to tell him
why... Good thing the PIE was good at the resturant.)

I'll probably post more when I get it all written down and get the
pics back from developing.

At least you all avoided the torture of having to wake up every
morning to me singing "Happy Birthday to me!!!" from June 1 'til now. 

Next trip, Laguna Seca! :)
