They all seemed to know Andrea, tho only one followed us for a while. (Who was the guy on the 929, I didnt introduce myself, rudely enough...) Finally, Andrea on her Duc 750, Sonny on his 748, Ben on either a PC or an ST1100 (not on the list), MrSteve on his VfR, Squidboy on his zx-6 and me on the t5 headed up the hill. 1 cop sitting in the first turnout, the second one in a Ford Explorer heading downhill before the 5 mile marker... (sheesh, hope this isnt the way our day is going) Head on up, turn at Angeles Forest, after getting caught behind the World's Dumbest Drivers (couldnt use a turnout. Sonny got a faceful of soot out of my tailpipe when I finally wacked it open in one of the few passing zones... oops, missed an upshift.) Angeles Forest to Lower Tujunga, onto Foothill to Little T to Sand Canyon. I think everyone hated Sand Canyon 'cept for me and squidboy... too dirty! Both Sonny and Andrea said that the road made 'em tense... (Sorry, gang!) We headed onto Bouquet, for some clean tight and long twisties. Whooo!!! I had fun chasing after MrSteve for a bit 'til an incident with a bad memory and a decreasing radius right hand turn freaked me out and I slowed down. (I need some RedBull or something!) Spunky Canyon was the cleanest I've seen it in a while, but to my dismay (and growling stomach) the little Cafe in Green Valley was closed!) Off to The Rock Inn, hoping IT was open... Fortunately it was, and the food was _great_ (well, i was hungry and it was cheap)... After much good conversation and good food, we headed back out. Its COLD! I mean, colder then before, so we head back Lake Elizabeth road towards the 14, take the 14 south 'til we hit the Angeles Forest turn off (I was too lazy to figure out how to do it without the highway) and get blown around on the way home. I'm frozen stiff at this point, and wish I'd gotten around to putting in electric grips... Everyone heads on home afte we get from Angeles Forest to Angeles Crest, and when I get home, I hop in the tub and warm up with some red wine and warm water... Good seeing y'all! Thanks for a great ride!
