We are pleased to announce the joyous occasion of the baptism of our daughter,

Amanda Grace Shu

on Sunday, April 26, 1998
at the Old South Church in Boston
645 Boylston St. (Copley Square)
during the 11a.m. worship service

May 98 update: Amanda is very close to the "rice sack" line at 10 pounds and is just doing great. She has started on solid food and just loves her rice cereal (with a side of applesauce.) This past month, she has enjoyed visits from Grandma Carol, Great-Grandma Ann, Grandma Ruby & Auntie G. They have been equally captivated with our happy, delightful little girl. Cat Mandu is now acting more like a "big sister" and it's share and share alike
(basinet & crib -- much to Grandma Carol's dismay.)

In rememberance,
that same weekend we created a special Memorial for
Noah Bernard Evan Shu (Aug. 18, 1997)
& Melanie Hope Shu (August 18 - 31, 1997).

We planted a flowering dogwood tree in their memory
and placed their ashes under the tree with the help of a few family and friends.
