This woman from Kazakhstan was sitting in the aisle seat from London to Boston
Of course when she got on the plane I tried to guess where she was from. She didn't really look Japanese nor Chinese. I don't think I've ever met anyone from Kazakhstan before. Of course it's central Asia so it shouldn't be surprising. That's farther east than Armenia, so she must have had a time zone or two more jet lag than I had!She was reading The Thorn Birds in Russian (for the third time! It's her favorite book) and wearing a ring that, if it wasn't zirconia, had the biggest diamond I've ever seen.
