BugHouse - 3 Strange things happen on the road. Just ask Jimmy Watts and his BugHouse band. On tour to support their first record, Jimmy is trying to stay clean, while Slim won't go anywhere without his stash. As the band prepares for its first gig at the prestigious Fox Theatre in Okatown, fate intercedes in the form of the charismatic McKinley Jump Blues Band, Lafler's tribute to Muddy Waters. $3.50 ppd.
BugHouse - 4 Jimmy Watts conquer his bug juice jones, Slim slips further under its spell, and Ralph Rojas continues his dalliance with the mysterious Clarise. Meanwhile, the band wows the crowd at the Fox Theatre and Ducat Records captures the performance for a live record. Special cameo appearance by queen bee Bu-Paul! $3.50 ppd.
|BugHouse - 5 But wait, there's more! Yes, it's another shot of uncut bug bop from Jimmy Watts and band. |BugHouse - 6 B-b-b-b-b! In this issue the focus is on bugs in love instead of bugs 'n drugs. Drummer Ralph Rojas, ever the ladies' bug, must choose between Clarise and her curves and Liz's luscious lips. After five years of (relatively) linear BugHouse stories, Lafler puts a little bit of the ol' surrealist wiggle back in his step! $3.50 ppd.|
BugHouse Novel A super deluxe 136 page bonanza comprising the first four issues of the BugHouse saga! Plus, at no extra cost to you the unsupecting consumer, an extra 26 pages of vital prequel type info. Wow. This sucker is a truly beautiful thing. $14.00 ppd.
Jonk! Steve Lafler continues his celebrated BugHouse saga by reaching back into Jimmy Watts' past. In Jonk!, Jimmy discovers the tenor sax, loses his virginity, and then dies of a broken heart. All before his 19th birthday! Is this death or illumination? Lafler crafted this 50 page epic on a trip to Mexico. Each issue of Jonk! features a vibrant silk screened cover and is signed and hand-numbered by the artist.

Williams, Roy Tompkins, Mario Hernandez, Ken Brown, and, of course, a healthy dose of the two Steves (Lafler & Beaupre). Please note: This issue features the infamous Dog Boy pool scene, which was edited out of the in-flight movie version. $4.00 ppd.|

Death Warmed Over A beyond-beautiful collection of dark wonderment by Krytine Kryttre, one of comics most original and inspired creators. Kryttre's inventive "scratchboard gothic" style has made this collection very popular. We only have a few left and when they're gone, they're far-gone. A steal at $3.50 ppd.
Dangle Say what you will about our lack of business acumen, but we always had good taste. Just check out this luxurious collection of cartoon finery by Lloyd "Troubletown" Dangle. In a perfect world, there would have been parades in our honor for publishing this title alone. Sorry kids, this sucker is sold out.
Bummer J.R. Williams is one of the alterna-comix greats. Which begs the question: Why did he agree put out two books with us? We're guessing there was something in the punch. In addition to Bummer, there was an equally perfect companion called Bad Comics. Alas, both are long gone.
Crabbs This 44-page collection skims the cream off R.L. Crabb, the great storyteller and classic stylist of the alternative comic scene. Opens with "The Hand," a hilarious treatment of how Crabb survived a career that would have had Keith Richards yearning for a cushy job at IBM. From "green" politics to Junior Jackalope, Crabb rants, raves, and entertains. Only a few left. $4.50 ppd.
DogBoy! Dog Boy is a wild, dog jaw snapping anti-hero for the ages. Cat Yronwode called Steve Lafler's 80's independent hit "the best comic book in America." The rare Volume I editions were published by Cat-Head. Volume II was published by Fantagraphics Books. They're all going fast. Volume I: Issues 1,2,3,7 are available. Volume II: Issues 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10 are available. Buy them all. Show your support for bad behavior. A steal at $2.50 ppd.
Prometheus' Gift Steve Lafler's most free and fluid improvisation yet. Lafler stacked the bristol board, downed a few brews, hooted a hooter, and started riffing with markers, pens, brushes, stubby pencils, and squished bugs. He also worked with a few old Jack Kirby comics (which he liberally swiped from) and from a manuscript that he'd prepared based on an infamous psychedelic experience from 4/10/76. Refrain from operating heavy machinery. $2.50 ppd.
