GOALS OF POND WATER STUDY
The child will:
- Become aware of the plethora of life that exists in and around
local ponds.
- Observe the in detail the lives and life cycles of small and
even microscopic life forms as they exist in around ponds.
OBJECTIVES OF POND WATER STUDY
The child will:
- Study local ponds with respect to their ability to sustain
microscopic life and to choose one or more ponds to study.
- Collect samples of small and microscopic life forms from one
or more local ponds and set up a laboratory in which to study
these forms.
- Observe and collect data on the life forms and life cycles of
collected samples of pond life.
