GOALS OF AIR AND WIND POWER
- Through laboratory experimentation the student will observe
and manipulate several properties of air.
- The student will discover that air has volume, force,
pressure, and resistance.
OBJECTIVES OF AIR AND WIND POWER
The student will:
- Discover through experimentation and reading that air takes up
space.
- Verbalize in verbal written form that the term volume in this
context refers to the amount of space that is occupied by air.
- Verbalize in verbal or written form that wind is air in
motion.
- Indicate through personalized experimental data that air, as
wind, possesses power.
- Discover that air has pressure through experimentation and
reading.

refers to the force exerted by air on objects with which it comes
in contact.
- Verbalize in verbal or written form that the term air pressure
refers to the force that air has to stop or slow down something
that is pushing against it.
