GOAL OF SOLAR ENERGY
The child will observe that the sum produces heat, which, as a
source of energy, can do work for mankind.
OBJECTIVES OF SOLAR ENERGY
The child will:
- Read how energy emanates from the sun and that without it
there could be no life on earth.

- Collect data to show how dark colors absorb solar energy and
how light colors reflect it.
- Conduct experiments and collect data to illustrate how the
unprotected atmosphere will absorb stored up solar energy in
water.
- Discover that some materials can serve as heat insulators
- Collect sufficient data to list found insulators according to
their efficiency.
- Read how solar cells work and see solar cells in action.
