GOAL OF GROWING SEEDS

To observe and examine the germination and growth processes of plants.

OBJECTIVES OF GROWING SEEDS

The child will:

• Examine plant seeds and become aware of the outer skin of the seed, the embryonic plant within the seed and the stored plant food within the seed.
• Observe the germination process of plant life.
• Sow plant seeds and observe and sketch their growth.
• Conduct climatic experiments with respect to plant growth and observe the results of varied weather patterns.
