These Art II Projects were inspired by the work of contemporary artist Red Grooms.

Following a unit on portraiture, students selected on of nine small studies to do as a relief. Then they were asked to work with a partner or by themselves to do a scene with people included.

Students explored the transition from shape to form using color and texture to support their concepts.

Materials: recycled cardboard and glue guns.
