Data on a Saint
The clearest and most detailed example in modern times of a saint who
'remained within the basin of attraction
in an orbit near the attractor or fixed point'
is the Hindu saint, Ramakrishna (1836-1886). His day to day life was detailed
by a disciple in the book,
The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna.
The book details his
saintly conversations and behavior: His basic state was
bhava,
but he would go into samadhi almost daily.
