Madrid - Museo del Prado.  Statue of Velazquez.  Valazquez' Las Meninas was a real highlight of our countless hours in the museum. 

Madrid - A "fall like" day meandering about the city.

Segovia - Originally a Celtic settlement, Segovia was conquered by the Romans in 80 BC.  Hence, the aqueduct!

Segovia - The aqueduct is over 800 meters long with 163 arches.  It was likely built in 1st century AD.

Segovia - The Alcazar is perched on a craggy cliff top.  This 15th century castles houses a military collection and items  belonging to the royal families.

Madrid - Senorita Alejandra, daughter of Caroline and Christian, gives her first wave with Uncle Doug.
