mail-bin Top Level
mail-bin
Use the mail-bin command to encode a binary file, using the UUENCODE
standard, for transmission via email to avoid data corruption.
Mail-bin will automatically encode a binary file for safe transmission
and break it up into multiple messages if it appears too large (a
limit of around 100KB is fairly common, we don't limit this but others
that may be hopped through do.)
For example:
world% mail-bin jones@aol.com program.bin
Mail-bin will prompt you for a description of the encoded data to
include in the message body of the email message.
