Gender roles can be a stumbling block and called ego problems. I like the
book, "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus by John Gray (Harper
Collins Press). Acknowledging that men and women *are* different, Gray
suggests that (the collective) we have forgotten that we are different.
He has some suggestions about building relationships. I think these are
applicable outside love and marriage.

I tend to identify where I want to be, look to where I am, and plan by
referenceing both points. This interpolation allows me to continually
check on where I am in the time continuum and establish go/no go points
along the way.

Okay, the commandment is do not worship false idols. The promise is
eternal love to those in obeyance. Are you suggesting that there is an
organizational worship apart resembling idol worship?
