Cocktail Sauce, Apricot |
| 2/3 cup apricot jam (either smooth or with chunks,
your choice)
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish (the kind you keep refrigerated) 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice 1 sprinkle salt 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper Combine all ingredients, put into a bowl that isn't metal, cover and chill. This makes a medium hot sauce, if you don't like it very hot, add the horseradish a little at a time until it tastes right. If you like it less sweet, choose a jam that is unsweetened. We serve this with cold boiled shrimp and vegetable sticks. |
