Early morning temperatures ranged from the teens across southwest New Hampshire and northwest Massachusetts, to the upper 20s and lower 30s on Cape Cod and Nantucket. Scattered light ocean effect snow showers will affect portions of coastal Massachusetts early this morning. Portions of Cape Cod and Nantucket can expect a dusting to 1" of snow accumulation. Otherwise, skies should become partly to mostly sunny across the region by mid to late morning. It will be a cold day, with highs ranging from the low to mid 20s north of the Massachusetts turnpike, to the mid to upper 20s south of the pike. Mostly clear skies are expected this evening, but mid and high level cloudiness will be on the increase from west to east late. Low temperatures should range from the single digits across portions of northwest Massachusetts and southwest New Hampshire, to the teens elsewhere. Mostly cloudy skies are on tap for Tuesday.
