the 50s for most locations by late this afternoon as high pressure moves
further out to sea. There will also be a gusty southwest wind. However, it
looks to be a mostly cloudy day with a few showers from time to time as a cold
front approaches from the west. The cold front will cross the region by late
tonight and will bring with it some shower activity. Lows will be in the 30s
to around 40 across southern New England although the evening looks to be
quite warm. Partly sunny skies are expected for Friday with a slight chance of
showers. Highs will be in the 50s.
