The sunshine helped to take some of the edge off the cold, but readings were still bone chilling in the mid teens to low 20s. Temperatures should cool off in the early evening. Then clouds will thicken during the night, forming a blanket that will allow temperatures to actually rise a little overnight. Those clouds are leading a developing storm in the Great Lakes. The storm will move across northern New York Tuesday and pass across northern New England Tuesday night. This will keep quite a few clouds over the region on Tuesday, but with little in the way of precipitation for us. The storm will eventually swing a cold front across southern New England Tuesday night. This will bring a chance of rain and snow showers late Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night. === The weather observed at WORCESTER, MA at 07:54 AM EST was: === The skies were mostly clear.
