Winds were still gusty in a few spots, but were much lighter than during the day Friday. Temperatures at the start of the day were in the teens and lower 20s, with wind chills between zero and 10 above. Weak high pressure along the mid Atlantic coast will tone down the wind a few notches, and provide sunny skies for much of the day. This will allow temperatures to climb to near seasonable levels with readings in the upper 20s and 30s. Clouds will be on the increase tonight as a weak storm over the Ohio valley swings east. That storm will redevelop along the mid Atlantic coast tonight and then pass offshore of Nantucket on Sunday. This will bring snow to southeast Massachusetts and a chance of snow farther north and west. Amounts should range from a dusting to a few inches with Cape Cod and the islands likely to see the largest accumulations. As the offshore storm moves out to sea, strong northwest winds will bring another shot of cold air to New England. The winds Sunday night and Monday will gust at times to 40 or 50 mph, and will add an extra measure of chill to the air. High pressure will then bring more tranquil weather for Tuesday. === The weather observed at WORCESTER, MA at 07:54 AM EST was: === The skies were clear. The prevailing visibility was 10 miles.
