There were also a few brief sprinkles and snow flurries across western Massachusetts into north central Connecticut. Temperatures were milder than they were Thursday morning, with readings mostly in the 30s, reaching into the lower 40s along the south coast, Cape Cod and the islands. There will be a mixture of clouds and some sunshine during the day today. Mild conditions will remain in place today on brisk southwest winds. Highs will top off in the 40s to around 50. Clouds will thicken tonight. Showers will push into southern New Hampshire early tonight, then will move across the region of the region overnight.
