Today winds gradually increase out of the west as arctic cold moves across the region. Accompanying this cold air will be an increasing chance of snow showers during the morning, parts of northwest Massachusetts and southwest New Hampshire could have brief heavier snow squalls. Highs on will range from the mid 30s to lower 40s before temperatures start falling with the cold front. The arctic cold front will deliver a bitter cold airmass to southern New England Monday night and Tuesday on strong northwest winds.
