Snow was confined to southern New Hampshire and northeast Massachusetts, with freezing rain in interior Massachusetts. Mainly rain with pockets of freezing rain was occurring across northern Connecticut, Rhode Island and southeast Massachusetts. Temperatures ranged from the upper 20s across the north to the mid and upper 30s along the south coast. A secondary low will develop over the DelMarVa early this morning then move northeast across southern New England this afternoon. Snow, sleet and freezing rain in the interior will gradually change to rain during this morning. Southern New Hampshire will be the last to see the changeover. Heavy rainfall is likely across northern Connecticut, Rhode Island and southeast Massachusetts this morning with areas of urban and poor drainage flooding possible. The precipitation will taper off during the afternoon across the entire region. Highs today will range from the mid to upper 30s across southern New Hampshire to the upper 40s near the south coast.
