A weak low pressure system and its associated warm front brought widespread rainfall of one quarter to one half inch across much of the region last night. A moist easterly wind flow will keep our weather cool and unsettled through Tuesday with areas of light rain and drizzle from time to time. As colder air moves southward tonight and Tuesday morning, any precipitation could mix with snow across northern areas. Highs today will range from the mid 40s across northeast Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, to the mid 50s in the lower Connecticut valley. Lows tonight will be in the 30s. It will be cooler on Tuesday with expected highs ranging from near 40° across northeast coastal Massachusetts to the low and mid 50s from Springfield to Hartford.
