Mostly clear skies were being observed, with partly cloudy conditions north of the Mass Pike and extending north into New Hampshire. Low pressure over southern Quebec this morning will swing its weak attending cold front through southern New England this afternoon and evening. This front may trigger a brief afternoon shower, especially over Rhode Island and southeast Massachusetts. Otherwise, expect morning sunshine to give way to afternoon clouds. Temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 60s, except lower 60s across the south coast, Cape Cod and islands. Tonight, clouds during the evening will give way to mostly clear skies overnight. Seasonably cool temperatures are expected with lows in the 40s to near 50 in the urban areas. Sunday, another low will move from the Great Lakes to northern New England. Its trailing cold front will move into southern New England during the afternoon, triggering widespread showers and scattered showers Sunday afternoon and early evening. A few of the stronger thunderstorms may produce gusty winds and small hail. === The weather observed at WORCESTER, MA at 07:54 AM EDT was: === The skies were clear.
