A wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will impact much of the interior this morning, before changing to rain by mid to late morning. Closer to the coast it will be warm enough for rain. The cause of this weather is a low pressure system which was forming near New York city early this morning. It will track across southern New England this morning, and exit the coast near Boston early this afternoon. Only a few rain or snow showers are expected in its wake during the afternoon and evening. High pressure building east from the Ohio valley will bring dry and colder weather for the start of the week. === === === ORH Terminal Aerodrome Forecast issued 21-Feb-2004 08:02 EST === 8am: 05006kt 1/4sm Fzfg Ovc001; Tempo 8-10am: 2sm -fzrapl Br Ovc004 10am: 23006kt 1sm Br Ovc002 12pm: 26010kt P6sm Ovc015 4pm: 28012kt P6sm Ovc035
