An arctic front across the Saint Lawrence river valley early Saturday, will sweep through the region around midnight. The frontal passage will be accompanied a sharp temperature drop, along with a gusty north to northwest wind. This arctic airmass will only allow temperatures to climb into the teens and lower 20s Sunday. In addition, a blustery north wind will generate bitterly cold wind chills. This cold weather will persist into early next week, as arctic high pressure builds across the northeast. By the middle of next week, we will have to watch the possibility of a coastal storm to develop off the mid Atlantic coast. This storm may track far enough north for its shield of snow to impact southern New England Tuesday night and Wednesday. === === === ORH Terminal Aerodrome Forecast issued 14-Feb-2004 06:47 EST === 7am: 24013kt P6sm Skc 10am: 26014g25kt P6sm Sct030 5pm: 26014kt P6sm Bkn025 10pm: 29015g25kt P6sm Sct020 5am: 31012g23kt P6sm Skc
