Snow associated with this system will begin to overspread the region from west to east this evening, followed by a period of moderate snow beginning around midnight and persisting into the predawn hours Monday. Snow will likely accumulate 1 to 3" by daybreak Monday across the region. As the low tracks across northern New England Monday, clouds will linger along with scattered snow showers or flurries. Southwest winds Monday will yield temperatures warming into the 30s. By Tuesday, another arctic front will drop southeast across New England, with a return to frigid temperatures and bitterly cold wind chills Tuesday night and Wednesday.
