Temperatures at 4 am ranged from 23° in Orange to 34° on Nantucket. Skies will average out partly to mostly sunny for today. Any leftover flurries will dissipate this morning. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid 30s over the hillier terrain of southern New England to around 40° along the coastal plain. Mostly clear and chilly conditions will be the rule tonight as high pressure moves off the mid Atlantic coast. This high will control the weather across the region through Thursday, with partly cloudy and dry conditions along with seasonable temperatures. Clouds will return on Friday with continued seasonable readings, then an arctic cold front will push into New England from northern Canada. Snow showers will introduce the frigid air on Saturday, with the brunt pushing across southern New England Saturday night as lows plunge to between 10 below zero and 10 above, with highs Sunday from the mid teens to mid 20s. === === === ORH Terminal Aerodrome Forecast issued 11-Feb-2004 06:20 EST === 7am: 27008kt P6sm Skc 10am: 29017g28kt P6sm Sct035; Tempo 11-3pm: Bkn035 7pm: 31014kt P6sm Few040
