Weak cold fronts moving out of the Hudson Bay region reinforcing this cold air. With generally clear skies and light winds overnight, temperatures fell into the teens and lower 20s in many locations. Isolated spots reported low temperatures in the single digits. Temperatures will recover into the 30s again today in most areas. However one of those reinforcing cold fronts is near Ontario Canada this morning and will move through New England this afternoon or early tonight. Some areas will see snow showers or snow flurries as this front moves through. Then as skies clear tonight, temperatures will fall into the single numbers and teens everywhere. Blustery winds will pushing wind chill temperatures to 5 to 10 below zero in most locations. This will be a brutally cold night to be outside. Tuesday temperatures will climb only to the lower 20s with lighter winds. Tuesday night will be colder but the winds will have diminished to nearly calm.
