This is producing a northwest flow of cold arctic air over the region. Pockets of moisture swinging around this low center will occasionally produce cloudiness over southern New England. A reinforcement of the cold air will push into New England Monday night or Tuesday. This will be heralded by scattered snow showers Monday afternoon. This means for southern New England clear to partly cloudy skies today and tonight with continued below normal temperatures. The morning low temperatures in the upper teens to the 20s will recover to the 30s today, then fall back into the teens and 20s tonight.
