The clouds and a southerly wind help temperatures remain steady through most of the night, from the mid 30s to around 40. Only a few sprinkles moved through the region overnight. The day will start off cloudy, with perhaps a sprinkle early this morning. A cold front will cross southern New England during the morning, and by afternoon will be moving off the coast. Strong southerly winds ahead of the front will send temperatures into the upper 30s to upper 40s this morning, but once the front moves through, gusty northwest winds will usher much colder air into the region. The clouds will diminish by afternoon however, allowing for plenty of sunshine. High pressure will build into New England tonight and Monday, resulting in fair but cold weather for the start of the work week. === The weather observed at WORCESTER, MA at 07:54 AM EST was: === The skies were mostly clear.
