Temperatures ranged from the mid 20s well inland to the mid 30s along the southeast New England coast. Low pressure over Lake Erie accompanied a warm front extending south of New England early Saturday morning. The low and its attendant warm front will slide across the region this afternoon. Temperatures will gradually rise this afternoon, causing much of the snow, sleet and freezing rain to change to all rain. Highs will be in the 30s. A cold front will swing through the region late tonight. Rain will taper off to scattered snow showers inland. Lows will range from the upper 20s well inland to the 30s elsewhere. Arctic high pressure will gradually build from southeast Canada Sunday. A brisk northwest flow will prevail. It will remain unseasonably cold with highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s. Arctic high pressure will hold over the region Sunday night. Developing low pressure over the Tennessee valley will bring increasing high clouds overnight.
