There was some light precipitation overnight, mainly in the form of snow or sleet across western Massachusetts and southwest New Hampshire. Meanwhile a mixture that included rain was found farther s toward the Connecticut border. This precipitation only amounted to a few hundredths at most. Light east and southeast winds will become south and increase during the afternoon. A cold front crossing southern New England this afternoon, will result in showers and shift our winds to the west by evening. This brisk west wind will help to usher in colder air overnight.
