Patchy fog formed across the region as well. Temperatures at 5 am were in the upper 20s to mid 30s, except for some upper 30s over Cape Cod and the islands. Mostly cloudy conditions will be the rule across the area today as a front sets up to the south of the region. This will signal unsettled weather through the remainder of the week, as weak areas of low pressure move along the front. Those will bring scattered rain showers through Thursday night, with some sleet and snow mixed in across western Massachusetts into southern New Hampshire tonight.
