A band of clouds and even a little light snow drifted across a few locations from a great lake snow band. The steadiest snow remained across the Berkshires and Hudson valley. Temperatures at 5 am were mainly in the 20s, except for some lower 30s along the south coast, Cape Cod and the islands. April fools day will start off sunny, but clouds will quickly work across the area as a fast moving weak area of low pressure pushes east. There will be a chance of rain or snow showers late in the day into early tonight. This low will push out to sea quickly, so any leftover rain and snow showers will end by midnight. There will be some breaks in the clouds by early Wednesday morning, but this will be short lived as another weak low races east. This low will be drier, though, so only cloudy conditions are expected through Wednesday night. The outlook for Thursday calls for continued cloudy skies with a chance of showers. === The weather observed at WORCESTER, MA at 07:54 AM EST was: === The skies were mostly clear.
