Temperatures ranged from the mid 20s across interior southern New England, into the upper 30s over portions of Cape Cod and the islands. The weather map this morning showed a high pressure just off the east coast. One low pressure was found over central Canada. Meanwhile another low pressure was located over northern Oklahoma. The high pressure off the coast will produce a south to southwest wind today. The low pressure from Oklahoma is expected to move into the eastern Great Lakes this evening, and upstate New York by Saturday morning. Once this low pressure reaches northern New York, it will swing a cold front across southern New England late tonight and Saturday morning. Showers, and possibly a thunderstorm or two, are expected ahead of this front.
