This kept temperatures in the upper 20s to the 30s. Along the coast, winds turned northeast Sunday. This brought fog into many areas along the shore, especially the northeast corner. High pressure to the south of New England will remain nearly stationary today as a weak center of low pressure in the Great Lakes moves along the St Lawrence valley today. This will result in another partly to mostly sunny day with continued mild temperatures for late January. High temperatures will be in the 50s, however the northeast corner will remain under the influence of the sea breeze well into today and keep their high temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s. A weak cold front will remain along the valley and then will push down across New England from the northwest on Tuesday and Tuesday night. This will produce another unseasonably mild day, with high temperatures approaching record highs in some locations. High pressure with more normal temperatures is expected to build over the area on Wednesday. === The weather observed at WORCESTER at 08:54 AM EST was: === The skies were clear.
