Early morning temperatures ranged from the mid 30s across the interior countryside to the mid 40s in Boston. Skies were mostly cloudy across southwest New Hampshire and western Massachusetts overnight, with a few sprinkles over the hills. The rest of southern New England remained partly cloudy. A cold front will pass west to east across New England today. This morning will feature considerable cloudiness, especially in the vicinity of the Berkshires and Monadnocks. Sprinkles at lower elevations and flurries above 1500 feet are possible along and north of the Mass Pike through early afternoon. Increasing sunshine is expected across the region by mid afternoon. High temperatures today will range from the mid 40s across southwest New Hampshire and northwest Massachusetts to the upper 40s elsewhere. A few spots, especially in Connecticut and Rhode Island, will likely reach the 50 degree mark. For most interior sections, today will be about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday, but still above normal for this time of year.
