The snow ended from west to east during the overnight. Final accumulations were in the 3 to 6 inch range across much of southern New England. Skies have already begun to clear out early this morning, and it is seasonably cold with temperatures in the teens and 20s. High pressure over the southern plains, will spread over the eastern third of the nation on today. It will be mostly sunny this morning across southern New England, then high clouds will spread across the region late in the day. Look for seasonable temperatures with highs mainly in the 30s. It will be partly to mostly cloudy across the northeast tonight as high pressure moves east over the Atlantic. Temperatures will again be in the teens and 20s. Low pressure will form off the New Jersey coast Monday morning. This low will intensify and move northeast Monday afternoon and pass near Nantucket Monday evening. This means a chance of a little more rain or snow Monday afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be in the mid 30s inland to the lower 40s near the coast.
