Temperatures ranged from around 30 degrees over interior southern New England, into the mid 30s on the islands and in the larger cities. The weather map this morning showed a high pressure off the east coast. A potent low pressure was found over northern Illinois. A south wind of 10 to 15 mph will develop today, leading to above normal temperatures once again today. The developing low pressure is expected to move into the Great Lakes region tonight. This low pressure will swing its cold front toward southern New England tonight.
