High pressure will remain entrenched over the region tonight keeping southern New England cloudy but precipitation free for the most part during the overnight hours. Weak low pressure areas will track across the Saint Lawrence valley and off the mid Atlantic coast Monday. A continued onshore flow will keep the region cloudy with a chance of light precipitation across southern New England. Expect some light snow across interior locations and snow mixed with rain along the coast. Accumulations will range between 1 to 2 inches. Highs will be in the 30s to near 40 along the southeast coast. Clouds and light precipitation will linger especially along coastal sections Monday evening.
