There were some clouds streaming east just to our south. Temperatures ranged through the 20s across southern New Hampshire interior Massachusetts and north central Connecticut. Temperatures ranged from 30 to 35 degrees across Rhode Island, southeast Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the islands. The weather map this morning showed a large high pressure over the central United States. Meanwhile, a weaker high pressure was over northern Maine. In between, a weak low pressure was found over southern Ontario. This low pressure is expected to cross New England later today, and bring some clouds and scattered flurries, mainly across southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. As this low pressure departs this evening, a clearer sky will return through Saturday morning. A low pressure is expected to develop off the Carolinas and move northeast along the coast Saturday. This low pressure should pass southeast of Nantucket Saturday night. Light snowfall will result for much of southern New England, with the heaviest snow toward Cape Cod and the islands. Of course, a shift in the track of this low pressure could alter the snowfall forecast dramatically. === The weather observed at WORCESTER at 07:54 AM EST was: === The skies were clear.
