The exception was across southeastern Massachusetts where clouds lingered into the early morning hours. Winds were light across the interior, but were blowing out of the north at 20 to 25 mph along the Massachusetts coast. Temperatures at 5 am ranged from 18 degrees at Keene and orange, to 33 degrees at Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket. Sunshine this morning will give way to high cloudiness as the day progresses. Highs will be low to mid 40s. It will be become cloudy tonight with lows in the 20s to around 30. There is a chance of some light snow in Connecticut late tonight, with light snow or rain overspreading the remainder of the region Monday morning. It looks like light snow will fall across interior sections, with rain along the south coast. Snow accumulations across the interior will average an inch or so. Highs Monday will be in the mid to upper 30s. Any lingering rain or snow will end Monday evening, followed by skies becoming partly cloudy. Lows will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Dry weather returns on Tuesday, before more rain moves in Tuesday night and Wednesday. High pressure over eastern Canada will remain nearly stationary through Tuesday. Low pressure will move into the Great Lakes tonight, while another low forms off the Virginia capes. The low off the Virginia coast will move east Monday.
