Its attending cold front will move across southern New England this afternoon. The front will be accompanied by a period of rain this morning, with rainfall amounts generally around a tenth of an inch. Slightly higher rainfall is expected across northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire where amounts will range up to a quarter inch.
